Hospice Care Without Insurance
Hospice patients are often eligible for Medicare, which is a government-funded program. It helps cover all aspects of hospice care and the services a patient needs. There is no copayment for hospice care with Medicare.
However, sometimes, a person who need hospice care DO NOT have Medicare or other insurance.
For People Who Have No Insurance
If you are someone without insurance, you still have an option. For people who are uninsured, some hospice organizations offer care at reduced rates or no cost at all, based on the patient’s ability to pay. All hospice work with the patient, answer their questions and help them get the care they need.
If a patient does not have coverage, Inspiration Hospice will work with the patient and their family caregivers to make sure they receive the care they need and deserve.
